Mountain Bounty Farm Gets New Digs

John Tecklin's Mountain Bounty Farm on the San Juan Ridge is growing - thanks to the California FarmLink's Individual Development Account (IDA). The FarmLink matched-savings program allowed John to save for a down payment on the new property, by matching his savings three to one over a two year period.

Mountain Bounty Farm incorporates land in five leased parcels, developed over the past eleven years. The new property is adjacent to the largest and most productive site. Development of the new acres will begin as early as this fall, increasing production for Mountain Bounty's successful CSA program.

Visit www.MountainBountyFarm.com to read more about Mountain Bounty Farm and for CSA subscription information.

California Farm Link is a non-profit organization working to promote family farming and preserve farmland through facilitating farm transfers. For more information on the FarmLink IDA matched-savings program, visit CaliforniaFarmLink.org.
